Donald Trump would seem to be a black or white kinda guy – people either love him or hate him. But when it comes to whether he could actually win the presidency (I’ll pause while those of you with weak hearts calm down), we are a surprisingly gray nation, based on this week’s poll.
Out of 186 votes, 35 percent said yes he could win, 34 percent said no way, while 30 percent said “maybe, if he learns to shut his mouth.” (Those people, by the way, are dreaming.)
Me, I’m a yes voter. As I said in yesterday’s column, those who think he has no shot don’t know politics – this is a 52-48 country when it comes to presidential elections.
Although if anyone is going to get, say, 60 percent of the vote, it’s likely to be whoever runs against a goofball like Trump. But then no one ever went broke betting on the insanity of Americans. — ash

Andy. It’s springtime. That sunshine you are always grousing about: it’s here now. Your doom and gloom is as bad as February, which a wise man I know once said should be cancelled. Take a break from the insanity, take a breath, and snag a few rays for your poor, poor soul. You are suffering for your art.
You also could get a cat, as I have been trying to tell you for years. She would show you the Way.
The water and the wigged-out people will still be here when you return. But after the snooze in the Sun with the Cat, you will be able to carry on.

Remember, your question is COULD he, not WILL he. Although the answers still show the same split as the polling has shown for quite some time.
