Pokémon Go – a scavenger hunt you play with your mobile phone – is sweeping the country. You can tell it’s ridiculously popular because TV stations suddenly can’t go a broadcast without telling us that “Everyone on the planet is being lured into dark alleys in search of a Jiggly Puff only to be mugged! It’s disaster! Where’s the National Guard?”
But the game’s popularity is utterly lost on takers of the Heller Poll, more than a third (67 of 173) of whom answered “Pokemon what?” to a question about the game, while 51 people decided it’s “the most boring thing ever.”
Me, I don’t agree. Yeah, the game is silly, but all games are silly and I’m not about to criticize anyone for indulging their silly side in a world that’s all too grim half the time. (Wow, that sounded lecturey.)
Besides, it’s getting people out of the house and moving around. And that’s good, right? Even if they’re chasing imaginary beasties.
Thumbs up, Pokemon Go. (By the way, if you still don’t get what it is, here’s a good quick article on it.)

this blue and black is very hard to rea, so I don’t.
Andrew Heller says
Hmm, sorry, Matt. Not sure what you’re seeing. It looks fine on mine. Might be a browser incompatibility issue. Let me see if I can fix.

Post shows up in dark blue background. Cannot read it.
Andrew Heller says
Sorry, Nancy. Not sure what that is. Browser incompatibility maybe?

I have the same issue on my mobile device when I click the links inthe email I get. It’s possible that the links are not pointing to a mobile-friendly page. Think that’s a setting that has to be set on the website, as mobile devices are rather…limited!
The only way I could get to a black-on-white version of your blog was to go to a saved URL to your home page, then navigate to the blogpost from there.

I have the same problem, and it comes and goes the last few days. Very hard reading black print on a dark blue background for sure.

I changed the image today so hopefully that will help. Sorry for the hassle, folks.
